Here's a prediction of line-up. I'll put a question mark in the not-confirmed drivers:

McLaren Mercedes:
1. Button - 2. Hamilton - [Paffett]

Mercedes Petronas GP:
3. Schumacher - 4. Rosberg - [Heidfeld?] - [Ericsson?]

Red Bull Racing - Renault:
5. Vettel - 6. Webber - [Ricciardo]

Ferrari:
7. Alonso - 8. Massa - [Fisichella] - [Badoer] - [Gene]

Williams - Cosworth:
9. Barrichello - 10. Hulkenberg - [Bottas]

Renault:
11. Kubica - 12. Petrov?- [D'Ambrosio?] - [Tung?]

Force India - Mercedes:
14. Sutil - 15. Liuzzi - [Di Resta]

Scuderia Toro Rosso - Ferrari:
16. Buemi - 17. Alguersuari - [Hartley]

Lotus - Cosworth:
18. Trulli - 19. Kovalainen - [Fauzy]

Campos Meta - Cosworth:
20. Maldonado?, Carroll?, Soucek? - 21. Senna

USF1 - Cosworth:
22. Lopez? - 23. Bourdais?, Rossiter?, Villeneuve? - [Villeneuve?]

Manor GP - Cosworth:
24. Glock - 25. Di Grassi - [Parente] - [Razia]

Sauber - Ferrari:
26. Kobayashi - 27. De La Rosa - [Baguette?]

Looks like you can cross Kimi off completely. Sad

Yes, Kimi will go rallying with Petter Solberg in a Red Bull-backed team... I think they will form a great team...and maybe Petter will fight for the World rally championship, while Kimi will make up same experience.

GRRRR!
I dislike this.
I wanted Heikki to stay so bad, but I guess he can try and find another team to explore his potential.

An advantage is that the McLaren t-shirt I have from the 2008 season is now correct again...

I hoped that too... but now I hope Heikki can drive for Mercedes GP and fight for the championship. Twisted Evil

Why is the t-shirt corrected again?
McLaren will have n. 1 and 2 again as last year. In 2008 they had n. 22 and 23... Question

TSSSSS

Well, I don't think Jenson is our best choice at all. Kimi or Heikki, for one or another reason would have been much better.

We'll see what happens. But I am not very happy with this choice.

I am very sad Heikki is not with McLaren anymore. His results hasn't been as good as he has expected, I am sure 100%. Sometimes he wasn't given the same 'material' and most of the times he had to get the ''bad'' strategy, and in this season, in which a lot of cars were in the same second, those details mark the difference hugely.

But I think he has played a very important role in that peaceful and good environment of job in the team. This year we were able to recover from a very difficult situation, only us, none of the other teams has shown such a development progression in 2009. Unfortunately those things doesn't count, or very few, in F1 it's all about results.

I hope he can get the seat in Renault, if he takes the seat in Mercedes (I don't think it will happen, but I didn't think Kimi was going to be out of F1 in 2010 Rolling Eyes ) that option would be veeeeeeeeeery atractive. (I also like Rosberg pretty much)

its a shame that heikki has to leave mclaren but personally, i think its for the best
as previously stated, he was always given the dodgy equipment and strategy...i seriously don't understand why they ALWAYS gave him a super-heavy fuel load Sad
i hope he goes to renault...at least they appreciate him there

I'm very sad ... If Heikki will not be in F1 next year it will be very different for me ...

I hope he goes to Renault or, better, in Sauber. I think it's a team who looks like Heikki !

I hope Mercedes, but Kimi said that Mr. Haug wants two german drivers...
so either Rosberg & Heidfeld or Rosberg & Sutil. (if Di Resta or De La Rosa sign for Force India).

Heikki can probably stay in F1 if he chooses to. Renault seems a good place as driver 2. I like the mix up this year:

Hamilton vs Button in McLaren excites me. Hamilton is a great driver it will be good to see how Button and Hamilton do against each other.

Alonso in Ferrari! This is gonna be nice. He is aggresive but does not have too many accidents. It will b egood to see Massa pitted against Alonso.

I'm also excited about Vettel staying on at Red Bull.

I'm very excited about Rosberg being in the Mercedes. I think right off the bat we have 6 title contenders at the start of the season. If I were a betting man I'd back Hamilton. Emotionally I'll be rooting for Alonso.

I think the Cosworth teams are going to be asking for rule changes around the engines being their first season in a while.

The utter lack of rumors connecting Heikki with anyone is a little disconcerting. This entire year seemed to contain a considerable amount of silence from and about Heikki.

Renault is looking shaky, and is in need of a cash infusion. This means they're more likely to go for another driver who can bring sponsors. There are several speculating that Kobayashi fits the bill.

Sauber is looking to be done for, if all the rumors about there NOT being actual money behind the Qadbak deal are true.

And Mercedes is doing this whole Schumi will, Schumi won't thing, possibly just for publicity, who knows?

My two drivers not being in F1 next year will pretty well kill it for me. I'll give it a go, but I can see myself getting disgusted with a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff and not making it through the entire season.

I totally agree. Been checking the net every day for news on Heikki & where he's going & still nothing. And now with Force India announcing their drivers it looks like seats are running out for Heikki Crying or Very sad

I'm a compulsive news-checker as well. Nothing. I've seen a few mentions of his name simply because commentators/writers seemed to be wanting to fill a space. Not a single strong rumor to be found. Either he's an expert at keeping things on the down-low or there really is nothing to hear right now.
