Hey there again.

Very nice chance to reach a good result in Italy, we'll see what happens during the whole weekend.

Two things are very important in Monza - KERS and Mercedes engine. Only one team has both.

And good mechanical grip through the chicanes and good suspension to run over the kerbs! Very Happy

I think the McLarens, Sutil and Alonso will fight for the podium positions Smile

Fisi seems to be having problems with handling his new Ferrari... I just watched him crash in Saturday practice.

Good qualifying session for Mercedes-Benz: 6 engines in the top 7.
Liuzzi has been outstanding, Fisichella where I expected... he missed the 3rd session of free practice, but I don't think he could have passed to Q3.

My forecast for tomorrow is:
1) Lewis
2) Kimi
3) Heikki
4) Adrian
5) Rubens

Hamilton: 653
Sutil: 655
Räikkönen: 662
Kovalainen: 683
Barrichello: 688
Button: 687
Liuzzi: 679
Alonso: 677
Vettel: 682
Webber: 683

From Kovalainen onwards, just 1 stop. 2 stops for Hamilton, Räikkönen and Sutil.

We have a great chance, we have both cars with two different strategies and both strategies are competitive. Not winning tomorrow would be a bit dissapointing (In normal conditions).

Outstanding lap for Heikki , in qualifying he is one of the best drivers, if he improved a bit at the beginning of the stints... I am sure he would be more rated and there wouldn't be doubts in McLaren about his permanence for 2010.

Let's wait for tomorrow, but I am optimist.

What a shame for Lewis, anyway these things happen...and it's better that it happens now than when Lewis is fighting for the championship.

Heikki's start was very slow, he had cool temperatures on tyres...otherwise he could have been 3rd.

Liuzzi drove very well and he could have fought for the 3rd-4th-5th place...

Sad Sad

Dissapointing result, we were aiming for both drivers on the podium, and we just get a 6th position.

Heikki, he had the worst moment when you can't have it: At the beginning. Then his pace was good, specially in the 2nd stint, but it was too late to recover all the things lost in the first three laps. We can't look for excuses, his options of staying could depend on these last races and today he lost some of them. I don't know which is the real situation about this, today our commentator has said that Kimi will come back to McLaren Shocked . Maybe it's decided, who knows.

Lewis, good race, at least until last lap, big mistake, big dissapointment. Nothing else to say.

3 points, we still could finish 3rd in the WCC, but we can't have races like this one in Monza.

Heikki had cold tyres...and prime tyres were not working as expected on his car. If he had started with option and on the clean side of the track he could have been at least 3rd.

Sure, but the reality is that he hasn't been 3rd, and unluckily for many people that is what counts.

When I was watching the race I was sure Heikki was having a problem, you can lose positions at the beginning, in the 1st curve, but it's very strange losing them during next 2-3 laps and so clearly.

That costed everything, the option to get a victory, the option to get a podium and then the option to get a top-5. And it's a shame, the rest of the weekend was almost perfect, but that's racing.

Heikki needs a small 'pushing' with these things and I am sure his results would improve highly.

Let's see if in Singapore...
