Mosley wanted this Formula2 with a low budget but high safety standards... just look at the tyres: in F1 it's 5 or 6 years since they were tied to the cockpit so as to prevent them from flying off... in F2 they are free to fly and fall on the track.

I don't think they're tied... even Henry's tyres were flying and his crash was not as heavy as Jack Clarke's one.
