Heikki is still having pain in his elbow, but he's just driving and hopes it won't bother him too much.

has anyone got the weight classifications of the cars?

didnt see it on the telly, would be interesting to see if the toyotas are running light.

but about heikki, starting from 11th is probably alot better than 10th. mclaren can fuel him for a 1 or 2 stop and maybe leapfrog some of the other cars up front (if they are running light).

lets hope he can avoid the traditional first corner mishaps.

points?

Direct quote from one commentator: 'Contact there of Kovalainen I believe it was!'
Well, suprise surprise.
Bad result for Heikki, but wonderful for both British drivers.

Why was Barrichello on a three stop? It didn't work very well for him did it...

Heikki was again unlucky at the start when he was hit by a BMW.
Also Massa was unlucky this time..Kimi took half of his front wing away Confused

Anyway Heikki's strategy to start with the prime was not good... he was struggling with no grip at the start, while the others were flying with their options...

Toyota chose to run a long stint with prime tyres and, as for Heikki, they didn't work. The new rules for the tyres during the race are simply stupid -.-"

Barrichello was origially on two stops, but he had to wait behind Lewis for too many laps and he couldn't get past, so Ross Brawn changed his strategy into a three-stop one. He would arrive fourth maybe with a two-strategy, but it wasn't so wrong...

Not a good race for Kovalainen, the start was definitive, and I think he wasn't or couldn't be as fast as possible, but the world doesn't end tomorrow does it? Razz

Hamilton drove in a very good way today. 4th position great. Good result for the team, the step forward is clear now and the points are a feasible objective in each race. The championship... really difficult.

I think Spanish GP will be a bit harder for us, let's see if the improvements help to make it easier!

Fingers crossed for Wednesday Exclamation Exclamation I hope the punishment won't be very hard.

Starting on prime was definitely a wrong decision...
And a BMW also ruined his aerodynamics by hitting him at the start...

For Wednesday I know that the FIA will, once again, show their anti-McLaren way of behaving. They don't do anything against any other team...but with McLaren it's easy for Mosley... Evil or Very Mad
I think that McLaren will be fined and lose 30 points on constructor's championship. But this season is already lost, so I'm not disappointed...the FIA made McLaren lose much more than they will do on Wednesday...

McLaren can be suspended for three races, if they don't do what the FIA wants for the next 12 months. So it seems some good news...no penalty by now for McLaren...

But the real thing in my opinion is that, now the FIA and Ecclestone made Ron Dennis go away from F1 and now they have an enemy less for their plans. Whitmarsh seems to be more diplomatic than Ron and so the FIA and Bernie can now "control" McLaren in the Fota meetings.
So now they can do whatever they want with the regulations. Bernie already owns a part of BrawnGp, they helped Toyota and Williams at the diffuser appeal and now they "helped" McLaren (in contrast to the spy story, but at that time there was still Ron). So they have 4 out of 10 teams under their control for the Fota meetings.

Politics as always...

If they find any more evidence about the incident involving the McLaren team, Lewis & Jarno then Heikki's also going to be punished too as well, and the innocent boy is going to be punished for nothing.
