Well looking at the friday practice times it seems that mclaren are going to have to pull something pretty impressive out of the bag to score points here this season.

lets just hope it doesnt end up like last season with a grid penalty for both heikki and lewis.

still, looks to be a very good race. the williams are competitive and hopefully we will see some of the middle pack fighting for the front. i hope ferrari dont just run away with it, they normally do well here.

what do you guys think?

I think Brawn, Red Bull, Williams and Toyota will be in the top 10... maybe Ferrari and McLaren are a little bit closer, but they can aim at 1 or 2 points in my opinion.

Well, we are not going to improve in one week, so it's going to be as hard as in Australia.

Is entereing in Q3 ''asking for too much'' Twisted Evil ?

Let's see if Heikki and Lewis are lucky tomorrow and get a good position. Not easy, but who knows.

Maybe the rain could be in favour of McLaren (they have a higher aerodynamic load, as Renault). Smile

If qualifying and race are dry the best we can aim at is getting 1 point Confused

Nice race until it started raining, then it was a chaos. At least we won a point (Well, maybe FIA removes it, but Hamilton was 7th, half of the points, so 1 point Cool) .

I think we have 'the magic piece' prepared for China, in case it's declared as legal. So, the toughest races have passed.

Heikki and Robert Kubica are the unluckiest drivers Crying or Very sad
And Kubica has now one engine less: so 7 engines for 15 races! Exclamation

However the stewards and the Fia were completely fool today...they made the drivers wait for 50 minutes before declaring the race stopped. And it took 2 or 3 laps for them to take the decision of the Safety Car and the Red Flag. Confused

exactly...the biggest sum is for the TV rights so drivers must have sat in their cars or waited in the rain only because of that money for Bernie. Isn´t that a kind of a nonsense?

I mean, the drivers should be prefered, people are watching F1 mainly because of them...and they were just forced to wait because of programmes of tv channels....

Kimi figured it out Very Happy with that ice cream or what it was Very Happy

My dad has dubbed Heikki the new DC. I hope not.

Just hope and pray that they don't take it away from us. You know what they're like.
My dad was joking to my brother before who walked in just as the race got stopped: 'Oh yeah, the race has been stopped. And Hamilton is going to get penalised for it. It's always his fault. Hamilton made it rain!'
They'll use anything against us.

What was with the confusion with the result? I know you take it from the last full lap they completed but everyone kept telling us that they did different amounts of laps and that they had different amounts left till they would have reached 75% race distance.
Come on people, you're supposed to be professionals!

kinda of annoyed that they waited so long before red flag and then waited even longer saying "they might restart".

still, congrats to button and 1 point for mclaren AND no points for ferrari Very Happy

could have been better, but also couldve been alot worse!! Very Happy

:edit:

also, lol at the people sliding down the hill in the wet on their asses! made me laugh a bit.
