Kovy always seemed to be on a heavier fuel load though.

Yeah they were saying:

Quote:
You would expect the man who wins the championship to qualify well and Lewis Hamilton did indeed dominate team mate Heikki Kovalainen, though it should be borne in mind that it was often the Finn who started the race with the heavier car. Kovalainen scored one pole, Hamilton seven; and only once was either of them outside the top seven - Hamilton in Italy, where poor tyre choice left him a lowly 15th.

Heikki is (or has been, but I think he is) better than Lewis on Saturdays, he has even shown it with more fuel.

That's one of the basis for 2009, in actual F1, Saturdays are very important. (At least in the last 5 years)

I Think after Ferrari have had a hard season with Kimi - Kimi is going to improve and have a great battle with other contenders as well as Felipe!

Kubica has been the fastest out of both of them, I think Kubica's going to progress in his consistency and his speed! I'm not sure whta will happen about Nick - But i know he needs to cathc up with Robert!

As this is going to be Piquet's 2nd season in F1 with Renault, He's got a tough, aggressive team-mate to battle with in 2009. I'm not sure who's going to be on top of who but as far as i know i think Fernando will be btter with the Renault

Rosberg is better than Nakajima in speed and i think Rosberg is too competitive for Nakajima - He's going to be sweating mad!

Well Sebastian is younger and lighter than Mark and KERS is gonig to only probably affect Webber in Red Bull and other drivers in the Field. KERS will give Vettel the advantage over Webber.

Glock is going to be on top for Toyota, and Trulli he might just get a tough team mate for 2009. I think Glock will get his First win in 2009! Trulli will also probably get some more podiums for Toyota probably.

As Button had a bad season with Honda last season but they both had a share of sorrow it's gonna be close between them. I think Honda are going to be better in 09' and be compete with Williams and Toro Rosso too. This will only be if they have much developed car and competitive drivers that can handle the pressure!

As Toro Rosso have not yet confirmed their Race seats, i don't have a clue what's gonna happen! But MAYBE Sebastian Buemi and Takuma Sato might be their 2009 Lineup and Sebastien Bourdais might go down to the Test Driver.

Force India might have some Advantage with their neew Mercedes engine and might be able to compete with the Backmarkers - Not yet with the Midfielders just as yet.

Now this is Important and long! It's going to all turn out wrong for Hamilton and Heikki wins the Title! Urmm... Rolling Eyes Not sure just as yet but for that to happen Heikki needs to stick it on pole in Australia and use some Tactics and some Tricks to play! Hehe Laughing. Sorry Lewis, But this Title will soon be owned by HEIKKI KOVALAINEN! LOL LOL Laughing Laughing

Heikki won't win a world title as he is in McLaren with a british team mate. Same situation as Alonso in 2007 (he should have won the championship).

Unless Heikki moves to another top team, or Lewis leaves McLaren (quite difficult), he can't win a world title. During this year he had to test for Lewis...during free practice sessions he couldn't find his set-up becuase he had to make long runs for Lewis.

I don't think Lewis doesn't deserve this world title, but even if I am a fan of McLaren I don't like the team being all around Lewis.

When Hakkinen and Coulthard used to race for McLaren, Coulthard could win races, could start from pole, could even fight for the championship (2001). Even Montoya had no orders to help Raikkonen, but suddenly Lewis has brought a change in McLaren's way of coping with the drivers.
And unfortunately I really don't like this. I hope McLaren can give Heikki a competitive car and a setup program not to help only Lewis.

Anyway my idea on 2009 is that Renault and BMW will be very competitive, but I expect Fernando to be World Champion.
Ferrari seems to have few information about KERS, so they won't run it (probably) and at the start they will be overtaken by at least 3/4 cars (since KERS gives 80hp extra, and this will be very important at the start).
McLaren appearently is on time with the development of the car, but other teams can be in a better position. I expect McLaren to win some races with Lewis, and Ferrari one or two races with Kimi.

Then I think Sebastian Vettel will win at least one race with Red Bull and Mark Webber will be competitive too.

Honda and Toyota will stay where they are; Toro Rosso without Vettel will score some points if confirm Bourdais, but nothing else. Williams seems to be better, maybe they will score some points more.

Force India will probably substitute Fisichella with McLaren tester De La Rosa and I think they will make a step forward with Mercedes-Benz engine, kers and hydraulics. I expect some points finishes for Pedro.
