if the race is not at least at 75% to finish when being interrupted, the points were/are given just as half points..so it's possible Smile

I have an explanation, I think, why Heikki has No. 23 on his car. Last year McLaren was eliminated (or disqualified) from the Contructors championship for "spy affair" Evil or Very Mad

So Heikki and Lewis are taken as last two in final standing. Rolling Eyes

Next year, I hope, it will be 2 or 4 Very Happy

No, Heikki will get the 2 on his car since Lewis is champion and will get the 1. Heikki as his teammade will get the 2. Ferrari will get 3 and 4 and the other teams will get their numbers according to their position in the constructors championship.

The world champion gets the number 1, so his team-mate gets 2 Smile

Then it goes down through the constructor's championship. So Ferrari, then BMW (because the McLaren's already have numbers) and Renault... so on.

Am I right in thinking that Felipe will get the number 3? Is is the one within that team that finished higher the previous season? So Kubica will be 5? Alonso 7? Well, providing Renault keep Alonso.

It's according to WCC except the winner of the WDC.

So:

L.Hamilton 1
H.Kovalainen 2
F.Massa 3
K.Räikkönen 4
R.Kubica 5
N.Heidfeld 6
...
and so on.

In 50s or 60s, 7 drivers got 0,14 points in one race. There used to be 1 point for the fastest lap, and in one race 7 drivers drove the fastest lap within one second (they couldn't measure time out better), so they got 0,14 points. One driver had 0,14 points in the whole season, which is the lowest ever season score, that is higher than 0
