Indeed. But the pressure is much heavier if you have to keep the podium, or if you are driving in 15th place. Much much different. |

thats what i was thinking. being in a position to achieve your first podium will put you under more pressure than scrapping at the back. _________________

But for the same (ish) reason I think Hamilton deserves more credit. He nearly lost a win... much more pressure than nearly losing a point. And he would have lost points to his rivals (well, Massa) if he hadn't regained the places.
Well done to Piquet, yes, but I still think Hamilton did a better race. | Hamilton is used to pressure, he fights for win almost at every race. For Piquet it was something new in Formula 1. So i think he did very good job, and he even drove Renault, which is much much worse car than McLaren, who has (as some say) even TC (!) |
