Here's part one of the report. Pics to follow soon (I hope Wink)

I went to Wendy on Tuesday evening as we left quite early and otherwise I had to stand up in the middle of the night.

Wednesday morning Wendy’s father was kind enough to bring us to the airport as the buses were on strike and we couldn’t get there by bus.
We went to look for a gift for Nico and in the end returned with a silly gadget flower, which swings when the sun is shining. I mean, he’s a guy and he’s away very often, so he needed something that he could forget to water every now and then Wink
We sat down to write the card we got him and written a message on it. Oh and we woke a snoring woman up, because we had fun. Ah well, most people sleep at night, instead of at an airport some time during the morning...
Our flight was pretty much on time. We sat in a Fokker 70, with only place for 80 people, so it was almost like a private jet...almost *cough* Wink
Of course the people on board were as daft as they could be. Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!!! Too preppy for me...*shivers* Chanel this, Lousy Vuitton that, bla di bla, so the only normal people on board were the cabin crew and me and Wendy... (Whaha, Wendy btw made an ace remark about those Chancel Chaps. “Grand Prix? Can’t remember that’s part of this year’s collection.” Muwhaha, hilarious!)
It seems like the weather gets worse and worse everytime though...in NL it was very clear. We flew over the airport, Alphen (Wendy pointed me where she lived and I failed to take a proper pic *cough*) and Rotterdam. Then into Belgium we thought we flew over Antwerpen, but I’ll have to look that up when I get back home.

After arriving in Nice, Wendy turned on her phone and we heard about the strike, which was a massive bummer, because the trains aren’t going tomorrow...
We took the bus to Nice, checked into the hotel and asked the owner about the strike and if there were buses going to Monaco. Fortunately there were, so we can go tomorrow, although we are going really early again, hoping to avoid the expected traffic jams...
We wanted to buy a trainticket, but it was soooo crowded that we opted to get tickets out of the ticket machine. That was only available in French, so that was an adventure it self!! Eventually we managed, but Wendy’s creditcard didn’t work and we had to pay in cash. We didn’t have enough coins with us, so we wanted to change them, but I understood (Yes, my french is not completely terrible...) that they didn’t change money to anyone anymore, because everyone bugged them. So we bought a Twix and got our change that way Very Happy

We went to Monaco and the first one we ran into was Chris Klien. He stood in front of us at the traffic light, but baaad, baaaad CK made a jump start and crossed the road while the lights were still red! Oooooh!!!! Baaad boy!
We walked up to Monaco Ville as we wanted to do some touristic bits as well so we went up to the palace and strolled around for a bit there, before we walked down to the paddock. Andi Zuber told me the GP2 paddock was right behind the F1 paddock, so we went to Alcatraz to have a look and indeed the GP2 paddock was over there. We couldn’t get in, but took some pics here and there and then spotted a guy. Wendy: “Nooo, that’s not Andi Zuber.” Me: “Well, he does look a bit like it...” Wendy: “Nooooo!!!” The guy approached us and guess who it was...Andi Zuber. He was actually in a rush as he had to make his walk round the track and his engineers were waiting, but he still stopped for a photo and a few autographs for Wendy. He then hopped off, but was very interested in the ships (Yacht is too small and boat is well, a complete insult...)
Oh, and Yelmer also arrived. Well, at least a bloke wearing his helmet, so it must have been him Wink

We decided to check out the F1 paddock and pits to do some driver stalking. We followed Andi Zuber down and after a couple of minutes, Wendy shouts: “Mika!!!” Me of course looking for Hakkinen. Then Salo, but it turned out to be Mika Kallio. Wendy was over the moon and well, me, ah well, he’s Finnish, so he’s okay. Had our photo taken with him, but we still don’t know what he is doing here really..
There were quite a few peops at the pit entry. Naturally drivers as well, so we took some photos, got some autographs (When I got Sutil’s, we totally missed Nico, who was in fact a little more important than Sutil...sorry mate...) and ehm, we saw quite a few actually. Jens, Trulli, Glock, DC, Webber, Nakajima and some more. A few of the GP2 guys showed up as well and after Jens and Nico had left the pits, we went back to the paddock as well.
Walked past Yelmer Buurman (oops...me: Is it him, yes, no, yes, no, YES! Crap...too late now!) but he stopped at the fence to have a chat with Bas Leinders (Who was enjoying a Chup-a-Chup). What’s the best way to get round the Monaco track, was the question he asked Bas. The answer: Without hitting the wall. Muwhahah! DUH!!!! Hihi, driver humour :p
We waited at Honda for Jens and Rubens when Bruno Senna showed up. Wendy had her photo taken with him and we waited some more at Honda.
At the other side of the paddock we saw Nico, but by the time we had got there, he obviously had left already. Still there were quite a few people inside the tunnel the drivers come from, so we had a look and it was Heikki there! He signed my photo and then sped off as well, possibly to check out the track as he took a different route...

We then left as at 8PM the SNCF would go on strike and we had to run our errands first. I must say that we’ve opted for Michelin star kind of microwave meals *cough* Pancakes, hotdogs and pasta *giggle* But we got fruit as well!! And yoghurts!! And Chocolate croissants... Hmmz...well, we could have gone to the McDonalds for 5 nights as well...so don’t bug me about not eating healthy, I did try, but you can’t prepare a proper, healthy meal in a microwave! Wink
We took the train back to the hotel and were well on time as the train arrived pretty much immediately!
Tomorrow a start which is a little earlier as expected as we are taking the bus to get to Monaco Smile

We walked over to the bus station and got in the bus that was already waiting. How convenient! In the bus we met two guys who were going to Monaco for the first time and it was really cool to have a chat with them. They were cool South African guys. The busride was somewhat longer than the train, but it still was okay. Nice views and much cheaper than the train!

In Monaco we walked up to the grandstand immediately and sat down on the track side to watch the WSR training, F1 training and then GP2 training.
Some Italians had sat down next to me and boy, where they panicking and stressing again!! Whether we could ‘guard’ their places while they were gone. Whatever...if someone wants to sit there, they can be my guest and sit down. If they don’t want to, well the stressy Italians are lucky then...

Several guys hit the barriers here and there, but nothing major happend. Took way too many pics again and after the GP2 practice, we hopped over the the pit side to watch FP2. Done some driver spotting, took too many pics again and took the bestest pic of Flonso without rear wing (That was just the best of the F1 practices :p) the Renault guys worked hard though and both guys who had their problems were able to get back on track again. Trulli flew through the chicane, slightly hit the barrier and stood inside for quite a long time so the guys could fix his car. Ooooh and Williams has got spies! 2 guys where walking up and down the pitlane to take sneak peaks at the other teams. But Renault and Ferrari done so as well..ooh! Oooh!
Oh yes, and it was the Toyota box in front of us, because there was an empty box next to Ferrari and McLaren are the fifth team again, as Bernie once again interfered. Stupid twat decided that Ron’s guests had to walk too far if they were at the back...*sigh* there’s nothing wrong with walking, I’ve walked for miles today...

After the practice we walked over to the paddock and ran into several drivers again. Robert Wickens was the first guy. He past us on a bike and Wendy was like: “Hey, that’s Wickens.” And she shouted his name and he stopped. We congratulated him with his seat in de F3 Euroseries, but it turned out no one had told him about it yet! He had to read it in the internet and in fact wasn’t even sure if he was going to the F3!! Then a guy who bugged Wickens as well came over and asked us who he was. *sigh* don’t bug people if you don’t know who they are...
The next one was Maro Engel! WHOEI! We spotted him, shouted his name and had a brief chat with him as well.
Took some pics of other drivers in the paddock, but most were a tad reluctant to come over and sign. Not much luck there.
Tonio Liuzzi was over at the RB Engery Station (Then again, practically everyone was :p) and when he left he signed my photo and Wendy had her photo taken with him. Mark Webber was another victim and we saw the other RB guys as well. We saw him walk over and no one really bugged him, which was quite a surprise. Webber first had to have his photo taken with a granny, who was parked in a chair in front of the engery station though.

We then walked towards Alcatraz as the GP2 guys had finished quali. Took some pics of broken cars that were brought back and several teams and all that. I dunno, but it seemed like half the field had parked their car somewhere on track... We spotted Ho-Pin Tung, but he just ignored us....pppfffttt...uncool!

Went back to the F1 track and had a brief chat with Yelmer Buurman, who wasn’t too pleased with his quali result. And yes, again someone asked us who that guy was...
Robert Doornbos was also present and we had a brief chat with him as well. Doornbos, although being a former F1 driver was the great unknown as again someone asked us who he was... The same was for Giedo van der Garde...*sigh* some people are soooo ignorant!
We waited for Jens and Nico, but there weren’t many drivers to be seen. Asked Jules (Jenson’s PA) if Jens was inside the motorhome and she told me the drivers had a briefing, but she expected they’d be done in about 15 minutes. Felipe Massa was dismissed, as he came over really early. Dunno what he had done, but perhaps he acted like a childish kid and the other guys had had enough of him Wink
Bernie and Flav left on a boat...just like last year. Bernie was signing for a few fans and Flav stopped and waited for him. Right behind me!!! Aaaah!! Aaaah!! I immediately got the shivers and ran over to Wendy...that was really scary, I’m still having nightmares... Wink
We spotted Jens, took some photos of him, but he took the short cut to the motorhome.
We then walked over to Williams to wait for Nico as we still had to give him his gift. Nico was nowhere to be seen though and Wendy asked a Williams teammember if he knew about Nico’s whereabouts. He didn’t, but went inside to try and found out. He came back and said he though Nico was inside the pitbox and wouldn’t come back anytime soon. We chatted with him for a while and told him we had a gift for Nico and he wanted to know what it was and then asked about our photos. *giggle* he couldn’t really believe I took these kind of photos with the camera I am using! Now that was a compliment! In the end he gave Wendy his phonenumber, so we can now text him if we can’t get hold of Nico. That was ace!!
Whahahah and there was this guy (I think he was a photographer) cycling down harbour side and a Williams engineer was walking in front of the cyclist and suddenly he moved left, resulting in the guy on the bike almost cycling in the harbour! Muwhaha, that was funny! The guy wasn’t too pleased, however, the Williams engineer was having heaps of fun, as was everyone who saw it happen!
As it was getting quite late and drivers were leaving as well, we did the same. The bus was pretty much arriving as we were approaching, so we could jump in a go back to Nice.

Today the trains were going again, so we went to the trainstation to buy our traintickets. My God! What a mess! Took ages before it was our turn. Think we had to wait for nearly half an hour. Naturally we just about missed the train, so we sat down and waited for the next one, which was arriving in about 20 minutes. While sitting and waiting we noted the train had a delay *sigh*...waiting just a bit more. Fortunately we got company; a journalist and a photographer from the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti came our way as they had seen Wendy’s Nico cap and they pretty much interviewed us and took photos! That was cool. Wendy wore her Nico shirt, which was very convenient for the photo. A little while later a train arrived on another plarform. Turned out that was going to Monaco as well, so everyone rushed over to the other platform. Me and Wendy ran like madness, but we still had 5 minutes before departure *sigh* As we sat in the train, we saw the delayed one approaching *sigh x2* That stopped on all stations, the train we were in just on a few. However, the delayed train left a little earlier than ours *sigh x3*, resulting in our train having an incredibly slow journey *sigh x4*
We had planned to take the 9 o’clock train, so we’d be well on time for the GP2. We arrived at 10.50am and we nearly had to run to the grandstand in order to be on time. Once we sat down, we had 5 minutes left and were tired already.
Naturally nothing happend where we were sat, although Yelmer Buurman’s car was pretty much tailhappy. Bruno Senna won, Ho Pin Tung was 7th, as he had much luck with his strategy and Yelmer came in 12h.

After the GP2 we headed towards the paddock. Rubens was trying to make his way through towards the paddock, but realised he couldn’t and turned around again. Walked round near the boats to see if there were any nice ones laying there (of course...) and chatted for a while with a Dutch guy we had met.
Whaha, and that Williams guy turned out to be nothing than a pathetic horny bloke, so we decided to ignore him after he had texted us an indecent proposal (Yes, indecent. I mean, did he really think we’d go as low as prostituting ourselves in order to get something done? No thanks!!!).
Looked for drivers, but there weren’t much to be found. Waited at Honda for a moment and chatted with two Dutch guys. Jens wasn’t there yet, but apparantly Rubens was inside the motorhome. Indeed he was, as he showed up upstairs, eating cake as it was his birthday. Shouted happy birthday to him and took some pics.
We saw Marc Gene as well and Keke Rosberg. Oh, and Jackie Stewart was there as well. He didn’t even wear his tartan pants! *shock**horror* noooo, instead he went for fashionably white *cough* with Nike Air Max shoes!!!!
Oh, and Sutil was playing table football. Yes, that’s been a case of paparazzi spying as it was easy to be missed.
We sat down near the Engery Station to have a drink and a rest and saw Mark Webber approaching. He was on the phone, wore a normal t-shirt and no one recognized him! In fact, when he was on the Engery Station, people shouted his name, but then he was loooong gone by then...
We also saw Mika Kallio again and Wendy had brought her Finnish Flag with her this time, so he signed that. Took ages until she had found it, but Kallio patiently waited.
As the track had opened and the paddock was rather quiet we went on track and headed towards the boats first. I immediately spotted three cool Fiat 500 Abarths so I was well pleased with that! Eddie had moored his Anaconda S in the harbour (he was actually on his boat, but hid behind a free magazine) and a little further down the ‘boat road’ Fisi had moored his. He was on there when we came by and so were his kids.
Urgh...and the further we walked, the larger the ships got. One with a platform pretty much as large as our house! Really sick...but cool Wink
Bernie Ecclestone also walked around, eating a Twix, wearing jeans (what?! Jeans? Yes, jeans!) and Bruno Senna was approaching us, so we congratulated him with his victory. He turned left onto a boat and was greeted by his mother and a got champagne shower from someone. The very intelligent guy on the boat next to Senna’s asked us who the bloke was, guess he couldn’t be arsed to follow the GP2...

We walked through the tunnel and enjoyed the sound of the sportscars driving through. In the Japanese Garden we wanted to refill our bottles, but it seems like Monaco has run out of water as I pushed the button, but nothing happend. Bummer...
Walked the track up to casino and got dollar signs in our eyes when we saw the cars... Ferrari this, Lamborghini that. Rolls this, Bentley that. Pagani Zonda this, Merc Carlsson that etc etc etc...
As it was getting quite late, we walked down again and saw there were many people still in the pits. Weird, as usually it’s only opened for people who have grandstand passes for Sunday... We decided to have a look anyways and we were actually allowed to do the pitwalk! Force India was apparantly already done as their box was closed. The other boxes were still open and we took some photos here and there. BMW was preparing for pitstops when the Williams guys pushed Nico’s car to the TC. As BMW required a little more space so they could practice their stops, the Williams got stuck between the two fences (oops...). Naturally by the time the Beemer Engineers were about to start, the pits closed and we were kicked out. Shit...

Walking at the start finish straight, Wendy said Kimi was approaching on a scooter. Unfortunately he was at the other side of the road and I had my camera turned off and was way too late for a photo if I still had to switch it on, but Wendy ran away and managed to get somewhat of a shot. I spotted a scooter behind me, with Felipe on it. At that time he drove past me, so again no proper photo. As Wendy was way ahead I just yelled: “WENDY!!!!!!” She looked around and I pointed towards the red scooter like madness. She got the hint and took some photos. Muwhaha, poor Felipe Wink

We walked over to the Mc Donalds to have a decent meal for once, instead of a microwave meal *cough* and sat down at a table to watch the cars go by. On one of the scooters that drove past was Christian Klien. Muwhaha.
Oh...and my feet hurt. That’s not cool...that’s in fact really uncool! And Maro went into hiding today and unlike last year, Mathias wasn’t too be spotted either. We still need to give Nico his gift and Jens hasn’t been bugged either. Ah well, there’s still two more days...
Also we got a textmessage from the Williams freak, who turned out to be rather important for Sir Frank Williams, whether he could take his indecent proposal as a ‘no’ then. Very much indeed!!!
And when we went online later that night, the interview had been posted. Whaaahahahahahahaha we are famous!! Muwhahaha, with a horrific photo. Really horrific...

And part Two...

On Saturday morning we left quite late and headed to Rocher immediately, to try and walk down, but that was forbidden as the security stood there and send everyone back. Wendy was a little more determined to make it down than me when she found out Sandra and Tinus were at the paddock, and she climbed a little up the, then slid down and eventually grabbed a lightpole to make her way down past the security. I on the other hand, just waited for the right opportunity, walked down, climbed over the fence and jumped down...Much easier...and, no dust, sand, mud and other dirt on my hands!
I walked over to the paddock and saw Sandra and Tinus coming back. Had a chat with them and walked on to the paddock. The first person I saw was Flonso. URGH! ARGH!!! I was about to go back again...
While I was looking for Wendy, I saw Barrichello and Nelsinho Piquet. I couldn’t find Wendy, so I walked over to the other side of the paddock, but she wasn’t there either. Called her and it turned out she was only a few meters away from the place I stood at first...bloody typical...
She joined me at the other side, as we could stand on something there and look over the fence. Brilliant for stalking and photographing! A security guy nearly freaked out when people stood in front of the scooters, and started rattling to us in French. Uhuh...Oui, mais bien... Whatever...but then it turned out one of the scooters was his... Well, it’s not like we plan to screw it... So once we nodded oui it was fine...
Wendy also told me she had managed to give Nico his gift. As he was in a rush though, he took it, handed it to his physio, signed for Wendy and then left to the pits.
And guess who we spotted as well? Chris Albers!!! Chris was there! That was cool! When we first saw him, he was on the phone, so I yelled: “Goodafternoon Chris!” He looked up, smiled and waved. Later on he came back and wasn’t on the phone, so I called him over and jokingly asked him if he was already thinking about leaving DTM. That was followed by a lot of laughter from Chris and an ‘of course not!’ Turned out he was there because of some sponsorship duties.
A little while later we saw Maro entering the paddock and me and Wendy screamed: “MAROOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!” Of course he heard it (Like duh...I think they may have heard us in Nice...) and waved!

We saw pretty much all of the F1 guys going and coming back from FP3 and quali, except for the RBR and STR guys, as they take the other side, as the Energy Station is located in the harbour.
Oh and we saw Eddie Jordan, Alain Prost and Flaav and his chick as well. The latter two got a lot of attention and so did Jean Todt and Michelle Yeoh (Better known as YO!). The McLaren guys really signed a lot, practically each time they came by they signed, and there weren’t even that many people, because the paddock was only accessible for those with a VIP tickets (or anything similar) or a ticket for grandstand E. Whaha, I was frantically searching for my Heikki photo and was about to think I had lost it. Muwhaha, of course not, I had already got his autograph earlier that week! Muwhaha, Blonde...
Schumi came by a couple of times as well, but unfortunately he didn’t stop at our place to sign.
Then there were two Diva’s (aka: Mister Rosberg and Mister Button) who failed to show up and let us wait for hours and hours and hours... I had already asked Jules after FP3 if Jenson was still in the pits, but she said he most possibly wasn’t coming back until quali was done.
Hmmz, and there were a few weirdos, who kept screaming each time a driver showed up. Really pathetic, even worse than the ski jumping Kreischies. And they are baaad, really baaad. So you’ll get the idea. Groupies, but then worse!
Also, the photographers went nuts when a guy was walking over and me and Wendy where like; who the fcuk is that?! Then some people started to shout: RAOUL!! And we were like...Raoul? Must be a footballplayer then. But is Raoul his first, or last name? (Later on we read it’s written as Raul, so that really does show our football knowledge...as a matter of fact,
I didn’t even recognize him when he walked outside of the paddock...)

We sort of tried to watch quali on the Ferrari screen, but it was too far away and binoculars didn’t really help either...so we turned to Carola for help, who texted us the results of each session immediately after it was done.
Whahah, and Sutil, Piquet and Bas Leinders were parading up and down. We’ve seen them over and over again.
The GP2 was followed through our binoculars as well, when Jenson showed up. Whaha, Wendy and I had made a bet which of the Diva’s would come round the corner first... Jenson naturally... I asked him if he could sign and he came over to sign my two photos. As I was holding my photos, a pen and my camera, I handed him the photos a tad unhandy and practically broke his arm *cough* that ought to be taken with a pinch of salt, but I could have done it more elegant... Jules was the perfect PA and took the photos after Jens had signed them and then I got them back.
Another while later the Überdiva showed up, but Nico turned out in a rush, shouted something to us, but as the GP2 cars were going round, it was hard to understand and we decided to hop over to Williams and wait for Nico. Before we got there, we saw Mika Hakkinen and Hugo walk away, but they turned away from us, so I couldn’t take a good photo. Nico was still giving an interview to the press, and then ran inside to give more interviews (he really couldn’t come over to sign then...). Miss Silvia said something in Italian to the fans, on which I asked if she could say it in English as well. I sort of understood it, but I just wanted to be sure. Ah well, not like we were going anywhere. We followed the GP2 on the screen in the Williams motorhome and saw Ho Pin Tung getting P2. Brilliant!

And while we were waiting, guess who popped up? MARO! We chatted with him for a while and we must have totally scared him off by our illegal actions *cough* who? Us? He also wanted to know what we were doing at Williams and why Wendy had a Finnish flag with her, so we told him it was for Nico. Whaha, you know, the poor bloke had to buy himself a ticket in order to pick up his card... Not very well arranged from Nobbie...tututut. And he was cold, because up in the Merc vipstand (on some apartment building) it was very windy and freezing. Awww...at least he had free drinks and free food (I reckon...). Whahaha, and when we told him we had planned to stay up at 5.15AM on Sunday, he must have thought we were idiots...
Tom Kristensen walked by as well, and we shouted: “Hey Tom!” He then asked what we were doing outside the fence, instead of being in the paddock (geez...are we notorious on the DTM paddock or what?!)
Oh and Kazuki Nakajima was missing as well... Miss Silvia called him several times and when he finally showed up, the first thing he did, the true Japanese bloke that he is, was apologizing...

We also saw George Lucas leaving the motorhome and then, finally, Nico showed up and came to Wendy and me first to sign. Wendy asked him if he found the time to open his present yet, but he hadn’t. Whaha, and when he left, he briefly posed for the fans and then went back inside.
Oh and at the Energy station there was this African guy (or something) and he was signing for people as well. No clue who he was, but must have been a footballplayer as well then...
And I forgot, we saw Boris Becker as well, which isn’t too strange as he’s a big F1 fan as well.

The weather today was rather crap. Not much sun and some rain, although quali was driven on a dry track. I had promised John Button I’d do a raindance, and I did, but apparantly I am not a very good dancer (well, skip the apparantly, I just can’t dance!) as the rain went away...
Whahaha and Wendy’s driver radar is crap!! This weekend I always was the first to spot Andi Zuber, and he’s not even my guy! So we decided to exchange radars and I got her Maro radar and she got my Andi radar... Let’s see if it works...
We also saw Tonio Liuzzi, with his rather ugly lady (well, at least he won’t like her for her looks then, so it must be true love...) with a suitcase that was stuck together with ducktape *snort*

And did you think Fisi was a true Italian gentleman? Think again...He and Louise Goodman were going to a boat and Fisi jumped on it, but when Louise wanted to, the boat floated away for a bit and she nearly fell in the water. Fisi, the true gentleman he could have been, could have helped her, but instead he stood up front on deck and couldn’t be arsed to help. When he came to the back, there was another woman offering her hand to help Louise on board and Fisi just stood and watched. Tututut, not really nice there Fisi...

And if you thought our only illegal action was sneaking off Rocher and running over the paddock was the only illegal thing we’ve done, well you are wrong. We walked over to the GP2 paddock in the parking garage and saw that there was security at one entrance, though not at the other, so we just walked inside, made our round, took photos of the teams packing, drivers that were there, Yelmer, Alvaro Parente, who was sitting in the truck in his underwear and Bruno Senna and Luca Filippi. Bruno was telling Luca a story and suddenly said: “And then it went like this,” and started hopping up and down. Luca, on the other hand had a facial expression like he was thinking; what the fcuk? Whatever mate, I don’t understand you...
Anyway, then, after we had made our round, a security guy came to us and asked us if we had passes. Of course we didn’t, so he asked us to leave. Okay mate, no problem, we were done anyway! Muwhaha!
Back at home we enjoyed a delicious pancake meal *snort* and then went to bed as tomorrow an early day awaits us.

The alarm going off at 5.15AM is really too early! The things you do to get a good spot on Rocher... When we arrived at the trainstation, we saw the first train was leaving at 7.03AM! Like...what the fcuk?!?! That’s not cool! The train’s supposed to leave at 6, just like the last two years I’ve been in Monaco! So we had to wait for another hour. Sandra and Tinus showed up as well, so we had a chat with them and left them in Monaco to look for umbrella’s as we headed up the hill to find ourselves a good spot. We did find a pretty good spot, near Mister Englishman, who’s there every year as well, and entertaining the people through his megaphone...
We also got a textmessage from the Williams freak, asking us if we had managed to give Nico the gift. Yes we did, but we couldn’t be arsed to text him back...
And the weather was pretty crap today!! A few rainshowers and if you know Rocher, you know that in the dry it’s not too comfortable, but in the wet it’s even worse and very slippary, something a guy found out. It may have been a combination of alcohol (early in the morning that is already...) and the rain, but he slid down and hurt his back, so people were shouting for the medical staff. It was only when Mister Englishman used his megaphone that the medics showed up. Whahah, not only a sense of humor, but useful as well! Anyways, he was escorted away and we haven’t seen him anymore. Not that we mind, because he was quite annoyingly holding his umbrella in our way, so we couldn’t see the last corner...

The Porsche race was the first of the day and due to the rain, it was started behind the safety car. Jeroen started from pole, kept the lead and won. YAY! So me and Wendy were signing (shouting...) along with the Dutch anthem! Wahey! Also, Michael Bleekemolen, Jeroen and Sebastiaan’s dad, had to go to the podium. He wanted to drive his Porsche into the pits, but the marshalls urged him to drive to start/finish. He didn’t understand at first, so it must have really been a surprise for him. The reason for it was because he drove for the 30th time in Monaco and was honoured for that. Was really cool to see both Jeroen and his dad on the podium together!

There wasn ‘t much racing in the World Series. The race was already started behind the safety car for the exact same reasons as the Porsches were and once the kids were released they made quite a mess of it and the safety car was brought on track quite a few times. Giedo got second, which is ace!

Whahaha, and there was this guy, who was already getting quite wasted, in front of us and when his phone rang, he wanted to pic up, but instead of the phone, he brought his beer bottle to his ear. Muwhaha...FOOL! And later on he did it again...seriously...some people are just plain stupid...

After the driver’s parade, the guys came to the pits and Mister Englishman was very much on it, shouting everyones names and all that. Quite a few waved, some didn’t and one totally enjoyed the attention (that being Lewis...). As a matter of fact, he walked over to the pit entry and waved to the peops on Rocher and all that. Quite cool though!
Mister Englishman suddenly started to shout that the lady with the white bag had to wave. Me, spying for drivers through my binoculars found the lady with the white bag and was like: what the fcuk?! That looks like Chiara! Texted where she was the lady with the white bag and indeed it was her! *snort*
Whaha, and Wendy was filming and all of a sudden lost balance and slid down a tad. Muwhaha, that’s on film Wink

Oh, and during the WSR and F1 is was dry, which was good. I hadn’t planned to watch the whole race from underneath my umbrella!
Fortunately the F1 started normal. In the first lap, Jenson lost his front wing, which pretty much sucked... Thank god it happend on the last short straight before the pits, so he could go in without losing too much time (And I managed to take a photo of the actual ‘crash’!
The rest of the race was soooo exciting!! Unlike last year when I was dozing off on Rocher, there was absolutely no time to doze off now. And frankly, with a race like this, I don’t give a shit who’s winning (though I’d rather not see Flonso win...). Bleh, and Nico’s crash was rather horrible, but seeing as he jumped out of the car immediately, was a good sign. At least he’s not seriously injured.
After the race the guys jumped in the cars that brought them to the press co. Lewis sat up on the roof and was waving madly to the fans! Really ace!

We then decided to go to the paddock to see if we could still stalk the drivers. At McLaren it was crowded, naturally because Lewis won, and it was hard to pass all of those people, because there’s such a small space between the paddock and the water. We eventually managed and walked on, but not many drivers were to be seen.
Instead, when we waited at the Energy Station, Casey Stoner came out of the paddock. Wendy spotted him immediately and had her photo taken with him. Naturally people asked us who that guy was (god, that seemed to be the question of the weekend...).
We waited at Williams for a while and done some eavesdropping with the German telly. They were talking about Nico and that he was brought to hospital, but just for a check up as he seemed to be okay after leaving the medical centre (phew, glad we managed to give the gift yesterday!)

Oh and we also saw Puff Daddy/P.Diddy/Puff Diddy/P.Daddy/Whatever his name is this year... but I was too late to take a proper photo. Ah well, he ain’t the most important person for me anways, so no loss there...
Then we spotted Chiara and I shouted her name, had a chat with her and finally had our photo taken together! Wahey! She went back to her hotel to change and then go back to Vijay Mallya’s massive ship for the party. Lucky her!
As it was getting quite late, we decided to wait over the the other side of the paddock to see if there were still guys leaving. Rubens Barrichello popped up from a surprising angle and left on his scooter. People a little further down the paddock shouted that Kimi was coming, so we were well prepared, but Kimi behaved like a stoical Finn, marched on, jumped on a scooter, didn’t look left or right and drove off.
The next one was Felipe Massa, who actually signed for a few people, then had massive trouble turning his Vespa in the right direction and sped off as well.
Nick Heidfeld also showed up with his wife Patricia, the chick who is responisble for his Yeti look. Urgh!!! Where’s her sense of having a normal looking husband?
Then...then Jens showed up! WAHEY! Wendy and me immediately jumped in front of him and I asked if I could have my photo taken with him. ‘Of course’ was the answer, so I was way over the moon. Jens left as well and when I got back (*cough*, I short of stalked him until he drove off...) Nick Heidfeld had gotten back and was sitting on a scooter which was waaaay too big for him. He barely managed to put his feet on the ground!
Teehee, and a guy walked over to Wendy and said if she knew we were in the Iltalehti. Wahahah, we are sooo famous! Finns recognized us! *snort*
DC left as well and he signed my photo. Wahey! Over the weekend I managed to get quite a lot of photos signed, which was really cool! Still not Schumi, but I considering getting Schu’s autograph as a massive bonus, because it’s so hard to get his, that I’ll be over the moon if I’m lucky enough to get one Smile

Oh, and Mister Rosato (I’ll never forget his name anymore...) tried to leave as well, but the unreliable factor in the Ferrari team turned out to be the scooters and what ever he tried, he couldn’t start it. I took a hilarious stupid video of it (naturally the wrong way, sort of upside down... I am blonde, so apologies...)
Whaha, and the media peoples where very jealous (they saw green in fact Wink) that we already had the latest Red Bulletin and they hadn’t. Muwhaha, they wanted to know how we got them and were off to look for some!
At 7PM the track opened, so we went on it and walked immediately over to the spot where Nico had crashed. He left quite a nice dent in the rail and we pimped it up by writing his name above it. Unfortunately we couldn’t find proper cars parts that were left on track, so we walked on to do some more souvenir hunting. In front of the K grandstand I found two small cars parts. I reckon it’s part of a rim, as it looks like the parts I have at home already. Wahey! And I also found a small piece of carbon fibre! More souvenirs!
At the boats we spotted Eddie and took a photo. Also Jeroen Bleekemolen and Jaap van Lagen were sitting on a boat, which looked rather old actually and didn’t really fit in the line of luxurious yachts. But then again, it still was moored next to the track, so it must have been luxurious enough to be allowed to moor there Wink

We spotted many, many nice and also very expensive cars on our way to casino. And Chris Dyer was walking in the tunnel. A Japanese bloke ran past us, towards him, so we could take a photo. Stood at Casino for a while, watched some silly weird Asians in front of Hotel de Paris and then had a look at the massive, massive ships from Mallya and Flav to see if anything interesting was going on. Well, you may not call it interesting, but we got a very clear sign that money is absolutely no issue for Mallya. He had many white, expensive flowers on his boat, but when we arrived they had been changed to red flowers. And the white flowers, which still were perfectly fine, were just thrown away! We saw many people giving the flowers a new life. Such a waste in my humble opinion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with those flowers and they must have cost a fortune... Also, the flowers in the motorhome were just piled up, ready to be tossed into the first garbage bin. It’s that I’m in a hotel, otherwise I would take some home with me as well...

We went back to the trainstation and had just missed the train. That’s normally not much of a problem, only this time, the next train was leaving two hours later!! So we went back to Monaco, decided to dine in the McDonalds (instead of throwing a plate of pasta in the microwave...) and went to the paddock again to take some photos of Monaco at night. At 10.45 PM we suddenly saw Nick Heidfeld and Patricia coming back to the paddock again. Hmmz? No clue what they were going to do, but possibly they were heading to a party or something...Whaha, and I’ve seen so many people looking très chique for whatever... Whaha, dresscode for walking around I reckon... Wink
Naturally the train had half an hour delay, so we had to wait longer again! In the train I fell asleep immediately (Normally I don’t sleep in trains/planes/cars, but I was so tired that it didn’t surprise me...) Whaha, it was quite an effort to wake me up according to Wendy! Wink
Was glad I got back home, still half a sleep, walking around like I was somewhat drunk isn’t fun, when all you want is a bed... Took a quick shower, then jumped in bed and continued sleeping.

Our flight was leaving quite late on Monday, so we went to check out Nice. It rained a bit, but it wasn’t that much (yet...). We sat down on a bench when an annoying guy showed up, started rattling to me in French. Then tried in English, but all of a sudden I didn’t know how to speak English anymore. It was not like he was prince charming, in fact, he was rather slick and creepy, so I ignored him and didn’t appreciate the fact he lay his hand on my shoulder, pretty much refusing to go away. Eventually when I shot him a look, he understood the hint and buggered off...That took him long...
Then it did start to rain seriously and there were strong winds as well. The fleemarket turned into a mess and we went to shelter for a bit. We saw a guy approaching with a cat on his shoulder. Whaha, cute!! As the rain got less, we walked over to the McDonalds and sat down there, enjoying a milkshake. Two hours and tons of silly wordgames later we decided to leave. Walked around for a bit and then went to the airport where we found out that we had half an hour delay. Bugger!
Eventually our flight arrived and it turned out the purser was English. In fact, we couldn’t even understand him in Dutch. I appreciate the fact that he tried, but it wasn’t too professional from KLM really... Thank God his English was perfect (DUH!) so I listened to that.
Our pilot let us know that we had a short flight ahead of us, due to the wind blowing from the right direction and he expected to land pretty much on the original scheduled time. Wahey!
It was quite cloudy during the flight, but in an open spot, we saw a huge city below. I said I thought it was Paris, Wendy didn’t at first, but then changed her opinion as well. To find out, we went looking for the Eifeltower, but it was hard to be seen. It was very beautiful though to see the lights and all that from up the sky. Really, really beautiful!
After we landed, Wendy’s dad picked us up and drove us home. About 5 minutes after we got to Wendy’s, we were in bed and slept like babies (Now y’all go: awwww...Wink).
