I just came back from Valencia where i was as a journalist the last 3 days, i have TONS of Heikki pictures :d This is the first one from me & him, i'll write a repport if you want?

THUESDAY

We arrived at Valencia airport around 12h. I went to the Goldcar Rental service to pick our super mega flashy Kia Picanto Cool

When I turned around to watch the guy behind me I saw he transported Bell F1 helmets! I asked him for who it was and he replied that the helmets were for Rosberg and Piquet! Quite a start :p Peter Sauber also passed in the airport but I didn't see him Smile

We got our Kia and drove to the circuit, about 20km from the airport. But when we got to the exit of the highway there were already TONS ands TONS of Spanish F1 fans driving to the track.
We tought that the fans would already be there in the morning but no... We had to wait 30min before we finally got to the accreditation center. There our passed were waiting as promised! Quite an exciting feelin when you are allowed to drive with your car in a Formula 1 paddock! And all those jalous faces looking who you are! Really great!

We parked the car and walked to the press center. The first driver we saw was Timo Glock, he was quite in a hurry but nevertheless he stopped for our picture. He had an angry face tough :d Some minutes later we saw Nick Heidfeld as well. He was eating in the BMW tent but we went to the press center. We installed the laptops and we start 'working' :d My friend went there already several times so he was used to it, he left to take pictures. I said I would write a bit but first i enjoyed the Formula 1 cars again :p

We had a private balcony where we could watch the entire track. We could watch everything on our special seats, 20°C, a small wind,... just fantastic! After some minutes I went for a walk through the paddock. I was able to see Vettel giving an interview there. Flavio Briatore also left the Renault tent but he is really not friendly at all to the fans. People were asking pictures or signatures but he just left with an angry face.

The testing session stopped at 17h and as we were there around 13h - 13h30 it went very fast. Most of the drivers left their boxes around 17h15 and went to their trucks to discuss with their engineers. I was waiting at McLaren to see Heikki which worked out some minutes later. Luckily for me local hero Pedro de la Rosa was much more popular than our Heikki Smile

I already posted the pictures from Heikki on top of this topic Smile

I walked through the trucks and was able to talk to (Heikki of course Smile

) Nico Rosberg, Jarno Trulli, Timo Glock, Nakajima,... Rosberg is really a nice guy. I thought he was a bit of a prick who drove with his fathers' name and money. But I was positively surprised! A really great guy.

But the best moment was the talk with Kimi's physical coach, Mark Arnall... I was waiting to see Kimi for the first time and then recognised Mark's bald head! hehe I said 'moi' (=hello in Finnish) and he turned around, tough he is from the UK! hehe He was a bit surprised that there were fans who recognised him! We had a really really great talk for about 30minutes! He talked more than I did, and his cup of koffee even got cold :p
We talked about his career, how Kimi is in real life, about his wife :d, about my studies, about our website,... about everything in fact Smile

A really fantastic guy!

I was all alone for 30 minutes and still waiting for Kimi. But just before he appeared there were about 10 Spanish kids, really stupid guys who ran to Felipe and Kimi when they got out of there truck. They were screaming and tearing their shirts. I could see that Kimi was really really pissed :s So that was not the best occassion for me to let him sign my picture :d But the best was yet to come Wink
