Today I read this on the F1racing website:

Alonso's manager confirms: Not leaving McLaren

Fernando Alonso will not try and leave the McLaren Formula 1 team after the espionage drama. The Spaniard's manager, Luis Garcia, confirmed they are not negotiating with any other team at the moment and plan to stay at McLaren.
"We have an agreement. We are not negotiating with anybody and our plan is to continue here," Garcia told BBC. When asked if Alonso would honour his three-year contract with McLaren Garcia confirmed: "He has to do."

So if this information is right (and I guess it is right, because it's alonso manager) than he will most likely stay at McLaren...sorry Vera Wink

I guess the question is: Are there any clauses in the contract between Alonso and McLaren that could enable either one of them to part ways at the end of the season?

Our commentator said yesterday that it can take weeks and weeks before briatore takes his disicion, because flav simply doesn't know who to put in the car next year.
I would also very much like to know the driver line up for next saison, but I think we have to be veeeeeeeeeeeeery patient Sad

I hope that briatore made his disicion around the japanese GP...Go Flav!
