Heikki drove really well even though he lost out, but if Marcus hadn't had a bad shoulder he probably would have won it easy |

MAYBE..but there're no 'if's in motorsport, so the fact is Marcus lost all the heats, Heikki won them!
P.S...i don't think I knew about Marcus' shoulder |

Big (and good!) news today!!!!!!!!!
Kovalainen confirmed for RoC
By Jonathan Noble Monday, October 8th 2007, 14:19 GMT
Heikki Kovalainen has confirmed that he will return to the Race of the Champions again this year - as he bids for a repeat of his triumph in the 2004 event.
The Finn famously beat Michael Schumacher at the Paris event three years ago, and he is keen for similar success when he competes at Wembley in December.
"Beating Michael was a very nice thing for me," said Kovalainen. "I remember watching him race against Ayrton Senna when I was still in karts so to beat him on a level playing field was quite unbelievable and the reaction from all the fans in the stadium when I climbed on the roof of the car was incredible.
"Driving so close to so many fans creates a very special atmosphere and I'm really looking forward to race in Wembley Stadium. Last year I lost in the semi-finals by just 0.0002 seconds against Sweden's Mattias Ekstrom, who went on to win The Race of Champions, so I'm really motivated to try to take back the title I won in 2004."
This year's Race of Champions will take place on December 16 on a special asphalt race track built inside Wembley stadium. _________________ If you think racing is safe, than you're not going fast enough... |

Teehee yeah! That was an awesome move!
And Heikki's surely got a unique way of crossing the finish line
Despite that, pretty pleased that Germany won. Wouldn't have mind Finland (Or scandinavia, or UK, or Norway *cough*...) but seeing Schu win again never much of an issue for me
And really, enormously, incredibly pleased that Mattias Ekström defended his title! *bounce*
(not that I would have been disappointed if Heikki, Marcus, Jens, Schu, Andy, Petter or Tom would have won. *sigh* It's not good having this many faves driving around ) _________________
