Ferrari never earned one single championship they won, coz they just won them with the pleasant support of the FIA which was ALWAYS prefering Ferrari in every way. Ferrari is a pack of cheaters and will Kimi announce on Sunday that he´s going to drive for the reds in upcoming season I won´t support him any second longer. I just can not support cheating in sports. And nothing else Ferrari is doing all the time.
Another reason why I´m so happy for Heikki, although I have to admit that I would have prefered to see Kimi in Renault cockpit and Heikki racing for RBR instead of Klien. At least for the beginning. Later on: maybe a pure finnish-team That´s pure fiction, I know. But still _________________

As much as I don't like Ferrari, I have to disagree with you here. There were seasons when their car was just the best, no doubts, no arguments, just THE BEST, and there was no way Schumacher could lose the championship. So why cheating, when you have the best car and the best team, and no one can reach you? They cheat only when they are not the best, not the fastest - and note, we are talking mostly about Michael AND Ferrari, not just Ferrari itself, so something might be changed when Schumi is not there anymore...
And it's certainly NOT the way to give up supporting your driver, even if he drives for 'an enemy'. And to tell the truth, us, fans, and drivers have different points of view on which teams is enemy and which is a friend.
All of them are competitors, it's the way it is, so if Mclaren can't give Kimi what he wants, i.e. the champions' title, he will try to achieve this with another Team.
And if Kimi wins the WDC with Ferrari, I will be more than happy for him, because it's the driver who matters for me. And if the Team is cheating, it doesn't mean the driver himself will cheat too, I'm 100% sure that even driving for Ferrari, Kimi won't repeat what Michael did in Monaco, in Austria, an on ther numerous occasions. |

That Kimi decides to go to Ferrari – I don’t know, that let him lose some points in my favour. I don’t have something against him, I like him he’s a really good driver, but: what the hell does he want at the ferrari team? Okay, he wants to become world champion – but wasn’t there another way without become a bad character after some years with Ferrari? *sigh* That’s really sad.. |

Oh come on! It depends on a DRIVER whether he becomes good or bad, the team can't make him do stupid and non-sportsmanship things just when they want to. Ferrari didn't make Michael do the half of things he'd done, he had done it all by himself, affecting the Team by the way. Well yes, sometimes they acted together, which wasn't good, but no way Kimi lwill et them do the same to him.
He obvisouly wants to win a WDC, and there's no possible options for him to do it with Mclaren, so it leaves only another option for him - to go to Ferrari!
Because Renault is packed, and I don't see any other team as a title contender now.
See? Easy!
And I believe the real fans of Kimi accepted/will accept the reality of going to the Red team, even considering Ferrari an enemy. If you are not that commited, you're free to chooose another driver to support, but I don't understand what's the point of following somebody with your heart and soul only to give him up later.
And one more thing - of course we are free to discuss what is good or bad for him, though we don't know anything, but it's Kimi who made a decision, it's him who met them and discussed his contract details, so if he decided positively, that means either he knows something we don't know yet, or the conditions of the contract were really good. |

I might be wrong, but I believe that Kimi signed something for Ferrari even before talks about both Michael's retirement and Alonso's coming to Mclaren have even started. I can see his point - who wouldn't get fed up with having one of the fastest cars out there, and constantly retiring from the races, often from the lead? I bet he asked both himself and the team the question "What else a man should do in order to win the race?" more than once. And this is where the attraction of Ferrari started looking good. Fast and reliable car, plus his talent - that's the way to the title! And let us not forget, Ferrari is easily the only other team who can pay his salary. So lets count the points again and understand why Kimi will be in Ferrari next year. There are minuses too, of course, like Ross Brawn's sabbatical etc, but the car will be fast, and Kimi has more than enough talent to deal with the rest. All I'm going to do is to wish him luck and hope that his fan-club will come up with the decent merchandise which is not connected to Ferrari _________________

Thanks lady for reading my mind! I mean i thought of it just after the press conference: Michael said that he knew already who was his substitution before he made up his mind. And that were not just a couple of week we're talking about but i think its about months before this very day!
So the PR machine of Ferrari and McLaren are better than ever. They kept everyone waiting, even Felipe Massa. Michael also said that he had to make up is mind for Massa's sake becuz if he didnt do that massa had to look for another team: MEANING: if Michael stayed next year we had Ferrari like never before: Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher. No second driver clauses here.
Dont be so harsh on Michael Schumacher. he did win a couple of WDC without making mistakes or doing wrong things but you have to know two sides of a story before giving anyone your opinion about the matter. Don't think Renault, McLaren, Williams or even Red Bull werent that cold in making teamorders than just Ferrari becuz then you dont know nothing about the Formule 1.
In the Formule its all about politics and money. Last year we got to this poin on the hard way. Same as this year with Alonso being punished for this. But don't forget about Monaco where Michael Schumacher pulled a trick and had a far heavier punishment than Alonso yesterday.
From what i've seen of Alonso in pre quali's and training sessions is that hes a tough guy to handle on the track. If youre driving a fast lap he won't let you pass even if youre President Bush himself. Not every punishment is rightious but that goes for almost everybody in the paddock (remember 3 bans from racing for Honda??) |

Does this mean I won't see Fernando smiling the next 3 years, because he drives for McLaren? That sucks.. |

i think sooner or later Mclaren corporate style of doing things will play against themselves...Kimi already said he feels more relaxed in Ferrari
But there's a silver lining: I hope Ron won't let Alonso do his stupid winning moves anymore! Oh wait, to do that Mclaren has to win............. |

Okay I know that I'm the only one here, but: I wanna see Fernando smiling!!! =P
By the way, I read that Kimi wants to learn italian now. I ask me Why? You cannot tell apart if he's talking in english or finnish and now he wants to talk in italian, too. I don't think that this makes it easier for the journalists, do you? |
