Yes, congratulations, little Flip!! It was so touchy when he was trying to fight back tears on the podium...
Last 10 laps were exciting, could you believe I was cheering for Alonso like mad, and he proved again he is at least better than Schumi in a direct fight for the position
Except for this, the race was crap, and dear drivers, please stop hitting Kimi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

He did cry during press-conference - but it's ok!!! He must have been very emotional )))
I was cheering for Alonso as well - I so wanted Felipe to get his first win ))))
Kimi's race - business as usual.... _________________

Who can explain to me - WHY Ferrari allows Massa to win???
After two days I've found only one explanation - Michael is leaving Ferrari in the end of the season because he's no funny anymore)
Now he have no excuses like "Imola too old and too tight" - you simply could not overtake Alonso in straight fight.
A friend of mine wrote by SMS - "if it was the LAST race of the season, Michael'd not think twice"... |

Very simple - Felipe was faster than Michael ))) he beat him fair and square in quali, and then Michael just got stuck behind Alonso, and didn't overtake him - yes, maybe he IS getting cautious ))) Or his reputation couldn't take another hit if he took Alonso out ))) _________________

We saw it several times before that it does not matter for Jean Todt and his squad...
But now.. I think this win is from one row with DC's in 1994, HPM's in 2004... I guess for the team Massa should low his speed and try to upset Alonso.. Now Michael get only 6 points.. If Alonso'd win and Michael was still behind - same two points difference in overall score.. But two short in overall....
Strange... Something's going on behind red curtains.... |

Think about it )) with Alonso between Michael and Felipe and Felipe gone by almost 15 seconds there was no way they could have orchestrated the swap. If Michael took Alonso – I’m sure Felipe’s car would have “broken down”, he was getting ready for this, in last 5 laps he lost 7 seconds to them ))) Only Michael stayed behind, and Felipe just took the victory – almost like there was no other option for him )) _________________

I would have killed Jean 'Toad' and Ross Brawn together if they let Schumi past Massa even in case of MS overtaking Ferny!
It would've been just rude, rude, rude, rude, to rob little Felipe of a win like that!
I'm just wondering, when Ferrari is going to recognize the rules of Fair Play and follow them...I bet they would have made up a perfect excuse to avoid penalties on using team orders, agrrh!! |

How about NEVER? drivers who sign to drive alongside Michael sign the contract where it states that as long as mathematically Michael is still in the hunt for the championship they'll have to move over - this applies of course to the first half of the season as well, when he always is a championship contender... Felipe's car would have suddenly developed a funny steering and he could slide off the track and then beat himself up about the first win lost - you know how it is _________________

heey now, THEY sign those contracts!! All drivers know that if they want to drive at Ferrari they will be second driver, in payline of Michael Schumacher. Still they sign the papers not Michael himself!!
As for the race: I dont think they expected Renault to join their pitstops as soon as the safety car came out. So thats why they had to perform two pit stops just after each other.
otherwise Massa would be the first and completed the result in a 1 - 2 ceremony: then they gained 2 points in the fight with alonso |

True but it's not what I meant. I meant that Michael insists on this clause in other people's contracts, and gets what he wants _________________

Yeh well thats michael. The truth is he can easily win without those clauses... Its sad for a sports man like him to sink that low. |
